Wind Turbine Generator from Old Fan
Wind Turbine Generator from Old Fan. This video is to demonstrate how easy it is to convert an old household fan into a very powerful electromagnetic generator that can be used in a wind turbine or water turbine or any other off grid, renewable energy projects. An old fan that might not be working and normally would be going to the trash is still valuable as a DIY generator. I installed 4 neodymium permanent magnets that alternate: north, south, north, south. The generator can produce up to 150 watts of electrical energy but does require more energy and more wind to generate more electricity. You can install only 2 neodymium magnets spaced 180 degrees apart also alternating north, south, that will require less wind and less energy to push the propeller, but also it will generate less electricity. I left the original wirings and switch connected and did not cut it out because the switch has 4 settings: slow, medium, and high and an on and off button. By changing the setting, different voltage potential can be achieved because there will be more or less windings connected inside the generator.

How to Build a Solar Panel with Transistors

How to Build a Solar Panel with Transistors. Few people know that a transistor can generate a small amount of electrical current when placed in sunlight. I wanted to take this very far and see what would happen if I assembled an array of 45 transistors by also using sun reflectors to focus additional sunlight onto the transistors. In order for the panel to generate it's maximum power, it needs ...
Motor That Runs Without a Battery

Motor That Runs Without a Battery. Once the motor is built and the coil is activated, the motor can run for days, weeks, even months without any external power input. The secret of this motor is the coil that provides an electromagnetic force to the magnetic rotor is also a galvanic battery in itself so that it can generate its own electricity and be a driving force of the motor at the same tim...

How To Keep Your Furnace Running During a Power Outage. The electricity can be down because of many different causes like a heavy snow storm, wind, fire, tsunami, earth quake, hurricane, tornado, etc. The power can be down for a couple of hours, a couple of days, or weeks or months, but if this happens in the middle of the winter with temperatures way below freezing while having family and litt...

ENDLESS Heat for Your Home WITHOUT Electricity 3.0. I decided to make a version 3 of the oil burning heater besides the version 1 and version 2. This heater was built to test a new design so that he heater can be portable and brought in any room and vented out through a concrete board out the window. Also, it can be taken down quickly and removed to a new location. The version 1 and 2 are perfe...

Since 15 years, I have been dealing with angular energy electricity generation systems (R&D). My positive designs about angular continue. In this regard, my own financial means are insufficient, I had meetings with many businessmen, they accepted the financing of the project, but they gave up when it came to signing a protocol, that is, when it came to formalisation. If there is an entrepreneur who will take firm steps with me on this path, who is idealistic, has financial means and wants to make an official protocol, I would like to meet. 98% of the published videos are wrong and do not work. I know the mistake they all make.

How do you screw heat resistant glass to the steel without the glass shattering ? They both react differently at different temperatures. Wood fires use a pliable packing to allow for expansion and contraction to prevent this happening

If you put a block of metal in the vent to absorb more heat, it would probably increase the effiency. Also, instead paint the concrete board white to reflect the heat back to the room.

your numbers just don't add up. 1) what fuel can you buy for $2.50 a gallon? not diesel, kerosene, gasoline, alcohol, vegetable oil, not even used motor oil. 2) a 220 square foot cabin (20x11), with R13 insulation, kept at 68 degrees, with an outside temperature 11F would require combustion of 5 gallons of #2 heating oil, 5 gallons of kerosene, 5 gallons vegetable oil. More if you had any windows or doors. More if your burner was less than 100% efficient -- wick burners are nowhere close to 100%. 3a) a 220 square foot cabin (20x11), with R65 insulation, kept at 68 degrees, with an outside temperature 11F would require combustion of 1 gallon of #2 heating oil, 1 gallon of kerosene, or 1 gallon vegetable oil. Again, more with any doors or windows. R65 insulation is over 10 inches of polyisocyanurate foam, or over 20 inches of mineral wool batting. 3b) a 220 square foot cabin (20x11), with R13 insulation, kept at 68 degrees, with an outside temperature 57F would require combustion of 1 gallon of #2 heating oil, 1 gallon of kerosene, or 1 gallon vegetable oil. Again, more with any doors or windows. There are many heat loss calculators online. I use a rather complicated application from ASHRAE -- they literally wrote the book on heating and cooling calculations -- it is less optimistic than the online calculators. Seems like you are making up numbers to get some views ... shame on you.
